Losing a Dog

Updated: Jul 6

I remember when I lost my dog, Molly, after sharing 10 years of our lives together. I could not believe she was no longer with us.

I was devastated. felt lost, and depressed, and even after four years I still miss her terribly.

So, when my cat Sonia- who I had for 20 years- passed away, just before the first wave of covid-19, I really struggled. And I’m still struggling now. I know their souls are in a good place. I did my best to raise them both the best way I knew how at the time.

I’m super proud of my dog Molly and Sonia who both tolerated living with each other to make me happy.

Losing my pets left me feeling shocked. Why did it happen to us? My children were feeling shocked too. As we grieved the loss of our pets, I wanted to help others like me.
