Dog Boarding Vaccinations
There is a legal requirement upon licensed boarding and kennels that dogs are vaccinated against the following diseases: canine parvovirus, canine distemper, canine hepatitis and leptospirosis.
You must bring in your dog’s vaccination certificates at the time of admission which I will keep during the stay. The certificate must be up-to-date and include any necessary booster jabs. The vaccinations and boosters must have been administered at least two weeks before admission. Other vaccinations may be specified if there is an identifiable risk e.g. kennel cough if your dog spends a lot of time with other dogs.
This certificate is needed every time your dog stays with me and my family.
I also ask that dogs have been treated for external and internal parasites.
If evidence of external parasites such as fleas, ticks or lice are found whilst your dog is in my care, I will ask your consent before taking them to the vet for treatment.
